Voice Note Transcription
1 min read
Voice notes are fast to record and slow to re-listen. Transcription turns them into text you can search, quote, or paste into email — ideal for meetings, rants, and voice memos to yourself.
How to use
Record in WhatsApp and send the voice note to Binx. Ask for strict transcript, cleaned-up prose, bullet notes, or “action items only.” For multiple speakers, say “label Speaker A / B if you can infer turns.” You can follow with “translate to Spanish” on the same thread.
Video walkthroughs for tutorials are coming soon.
Use cases
Journalist on a walk
A two-minute memo becomes quotes and a lede suggestion.
Manager after a parking-lot conversation
Voice note → three decisions and who owns what.
Student in a noisy hall
Lecture fragment transcribed with [inaudible] markers where unclear.
Example
Send something like this in your Binx chat on WhatsApp.
“Transcribe this voice note verbatim, then give me three bullet takeaways”
Tips
If accuracy matters for compliance, say “verbatim including filler words.”
